This applet implements the Nonlinear Yale MNI to Talairach Conversion Algorithm that will be embeded in BioImage Suite 2.0. This mapping is based on a nonlinear surface registration between the MNI Colin brain and the outline of the Talairach brain as reconstructed by digitizing the Talairach Atlas. This method is documented in the following paper, which has been accepted for publication in NeuroImage. -- see also the slides from a recent talk for more details.
