BioImage Suite is an integrated image
analysis software suite developed at Yale University. BioImage Suite has been
extensively used at different labs at Yale since about 2001.
The latest version is 3.01 released on March 17th, 2011. The module guide explains the new module architecture of BioImage Suite 3.0 and contains a list of all the new command line modules. These can be accessed either as command line scripts or as standalone GUI applets (by specifying the --dogui 1 option).

BioImage Suite has extensive capabilities for both neuro/cardiac and abdominal image analysis and state of the art visualization. Many packages are available that are highly extensible, and provide functionality for image visualization and registration, surface editing, cardiac 4D multi-slice editing, diffusion tensor image processing, mouse segmentation and registration, and much more. It can be intergrated with other biomedical image processing software, such as FSL, AFNI, and SPM. This site provides information, downloads, documentation, and other resources for users of the software.
We acknowledge support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) under grant R03 EB012969.

In addition, a user
support is available for providing basic user support. We have migrated to
a NITRC-hosted server. The archives of the old forum can still be found at
the old forum location.
